growing sweet 'staches and just growing
Blog land news break: we are, in fact, alive. Also, stay tuned to find out if tethering your cell phone to the computer for Internet service is all it is cracked up to be.....
Uh, it's not. It can be very, VERY frustrating, and I avoid frustrating. So there you have my #1 excuse for why I have been absent from the blog. Lots have happened since we've been away. Surprise. Lots and lots..........like............
Ryan grew a mustache. Such a steamy look for him, don't you think? This is NOT real, just in case you were wishing your man could sprout such a smooth and silky 'stache as my guy.
And I am happy to report that I have NOT been busy growing facial hair, but I HAVE been growing a belly. March 7th this baby boy gets to join our family and we are SO excited and feeling extremely blessed! We do have a name, and no, it does not start with the letter "R."
Russell started Kindergarten. Does not this picture just say #2 pencils all over it? I have so many mixed feelings about sending him to school. Some parts I love and some parts are just sitting funny with me. Another topic for another day.
This bug is still her happy little (getting bigger by the day) self. As anxious as I am to snuggle up with an infant again, my greatest joys of motherhood have come from watching these special spirits grow into their strong and independent selves. Being entrusted to tutor them in that process, being their mom, is such an experience...... a "not enough adjectives in the world to describe it" kind of experience.
Remember this place? As of two weeks ago, the frozen yogurt chapter in Rasmussen history is just that: history. We had no intention of selling so soon, but we have felt very guided and comforted in our decision to change directions with Ryan's work. Lots of possibilities are ahead in our future. We shall see where we are to go next! As for today, we will enjoy every moment we get to share with daddy at home because it. has. been. BLISS!

So it's back to bliss for me. Those are all the updates for tonight! Thanks for checking in!
