Legos and freebies....two of my favorite things!
Lately I have been the queen of distracted. Just ask my husband. I'm sure it is driving him bananas. It is driving me bananas. I cannot seem to focus. I am supposed to be packing and preparing our house to move, among a million other things. Instead, I've been drilling holes in Legos. This and growing wheat grass in mason jars. Did you see that tutorial floating around in blog land? I told you I was distracted. Wheat grass?!?! Well, our grass IS growing. Russell is loving it, but he was a little disappointed that I sent our project to our backyard steps today. My nose is burning from the smell of what has become a fermented mess. It has become very clear to me that it is time for me to turn off my computer for a while, just until I can realign a few things in my days, like learning to choose the BEST of the good, better, and best. Wheat grass is NOT the BEST!!!
So this will be sayonara for a time. But before I say goodbye, here is the deal. Legos are a favorite at our house. And free stuff. And making stuff. And giving away made stuff so we don't have to pack around more stuff. So.......one bracelet and one set of earrings is for one of YOU. :-) Leave a comment and we'll come up with some super scientific way of randomly selecting the winner (it'll probably end up that Russell will draw straws or something), and a lovely set of these will arrive at your house in time for Mother's day.
p.s.- no Lego sets were harmed in the making of these bracelets. Lego has a pick a piece link on their website that allows you to buy missing pieces to sets. You can also print out any missing instructions there. Have I mentioned that Lego is awesome!
p.p.s.- the bracelet is fun just as it is, but it's even more fun to customize it each time. Russell built on mine and fancied it up real nice for me. And next time it'll be a whole new creation! The possibilities are endless.
p.p.p.s.- Russell will draw straws on April 30th, so leave a comment before then if Legos and freebies are among your favorite things too!
