Her favorite word

You wouldn't know it by this big, upside down smile, but this little girl's favorite word these days is "happy."

Here's a better picture of a happy her.  Unless she's doing the screaming thing, which of course, I have no idea what she is saying then, she responds to everything else with "happy".....especially when she is in trouble.    Part of this is my problem.  I'm realizing I use the "you will sit here away from the family until you are ready to be happy" phrase a lot.  But lately it's been going more like this.  "Rylee, that Popsicle must be eaten at the table.  If you do not go sit down at the table with it I will have to take it away."  Her reply...."NO, happy!  happy!" as she moves farther AWAY from the table with those great big grinning eyes.  Is she telling me to be happy?  Or does she think anything goes just as long as she is happy?  Happy is good and all, but clearly I need to rethink my strategy for communicating with the child.  Something is just not clicking here!  Ahhhh!  Suggestions?..........pretty please!

Sorry no suggestions, because all I know is that when I see this girl it makes me happy! She is the definition of happy.
