shhhhhh. don't tell Ryan.
One of Ryan's favorite stories to tell is the day he went for a walk on the Provo trail and he brought me home a very special "surprise." We had only been married a few months, but I knew Ryan well enough at that point to know that any surprise of his accompanied by "the look" (you know, that mischievous little boy look that's a dead give away he's NOT hiding flowers behind his back), was something I was going to get a lifetime of experience with. I married a tease. Little did he know, I had practiced some responses for such occasions. My surprise? A snake. Was I shocked? Not at all. It was my turn to shock Ryan when I said, "Neat! Are we going to keep it?"
Well, his fun was spoiled and he let the thing free. Never again have I had a doorstep delivery quite like that one AND I became an awesome, reptile loving wife. Success!!!
p.s.- I think reptiles are ugly and snakes give me the creeps. shhhhh. don't tell Ryan.
