I love "Please" and "Thank You"

Tonight's dinner was not a lesson on table settings or on using different pieces of silverware for different purposes (Russell came up with this one all on his own), but it made me laugh and reminded me of how much I love good manners.  It also reminded me how much I love having a dishwasher.

We do our best at saying "thank you" and "please" and "excuse me" in our home.  I love to hear those words MOST from the ones I love the most.  Kind words keep me in check and help me feel like we're not taking one another for granted.  I love the thoughtfulness of good manners.

                         And............................

Speaking of good manners.....Ryan, I don't know where mine were when I posted that handsome picture of you in plaid. This one is much, much better.

Okay, truce.  Have I told you lately that you're awesome?!  Well there you have it.  And now the whole wide world has been told as well.  (just for the record, though, your wife gets a few extra awesome points for being the lady behind the camera that is willing to stand on a pier for hours to capture so many of your awesome moments).

Awesome times infinity.  How could I not have married this?  What a lucky girl I am.

I'd be lost without my Ryan.  (Or is this a picture of me pulling my hair out?)  MuuaaaaHhHhhhhHhh!!!!  (that's supposed to be a smooch but I guess a sinister laugh could work as well)  Love ya!  :)
