so blessed. day ten

You think I'll get some extra awesome wife points for revealing to the world how talented this husband of mine is?  :)

As of last night at 11:00 pm, it was all arranged that when Ryan got home we were heading to Sac for a much needed day away from the shop.  My bag was ready but I just wasn't feeling it.  Totally NOT the case when we have an opportunity to get out of dodge...especially AFTER I've packed.  I never like playing the role of unenthusiastic wife in situations such as these so I was grateful that when Ryan came home he was hesitant about the trip as well.  Sooooooooo not the hubby I know when snow is involved! 

We stayed home.

This morning, when Ryan got into his car to go to work, it wouldn't start.  The battery was dead.  Funny considering that this was the only car we had chains for to take us to the snow.  Had we not even listened to last night's promptings, Someone was making sure we stayed in town today.

Maybe it was because the health department came this afternoon unannounced to do our biannual inspection.  Maybe not, but that is always a good thing for us to be here for.  It's enough for me.  Feeling blessed He knows and cares about even our health inspections.

I think Ryan would have broken his arm because I wouldn't be there to watch his back. or maybe he would have broken his arm if I went... That's never happend before. :) Either way, it's a good thing he was a listenin'.
