so blessed. day six

This girl was positive she had gotten away with something incredible....

...and I stood close by quietly and allowed the consequence to follow.  Moms have a knack for being wise like that. 



....aaannnndddd.......it was a total failure for me at the wise mom thing.  I'm really not as smart as I like to think I am.  I paid for keeping my mouth shut later in the day when she decided water in the face was fabulous fun.  My floor has never been mopped so many times in a twelve hour period. 

But........my mom is wise.  That's where I'm going with all this.  So, in addition to one super clean kitchen floor, her wisdom is what I'm feeling blessed with today.  In all my passionate principleness and attempts at sorting feelings from facts (and principles!),  I am blessed with a reliable source of level, reasonable experience and unbiased advice that is just a phone call away.  Such a blessing on a day like today when I was just needing a little practical direction.  I love my practical mom.  Somehow that gene skipped me....and, uh, by the looks of it, it's not looking like one of  Rylee's strongest traits either.  Oh dear.
