so blessed. day eight

I had an appointment today to have our car's transmission fluid changed. When I arrived at the mechanic, he informed me that the "flushing machine" that they use to do the job was not working properly. He kept apologizing for the inconvenience but to be honest, I was feeling a little relieved...and blessed. I was going to be without the car for over two hours with the kids in the rain with very few places indoors near enough to explore. I'm way okay with rescheduling on a sunny day. How long can you keep children busy in a 7-eleven? I'm counting it a blessing to not have found that one out.

We are from we don't know how to be bored. We are from fish in our trunk, from sushi nights out and KFC Christmas eves in. We are from bowling, a lot, from shooting pool and other things. We are from the Bob Jone's Trail, from trail mix, from mix matched socks, from shoes. We are from Donald's words of advice, from serving, from being served. We are from 1st Nephi 3:7, from faith, from family. We are from laughter. We are from love. We are from God.
