#16. I am grateful for missionaries
I'm excited about a new missionary program that our church is implementing and testing out with 100 missionaries across the world. Their task is to work on the Internet daily as a way to communicate the message of the Gospel. If any of you have questions about my faith, I'm always happy to do my best at answering questions, but these missionary people are pretty good too. :) A few missionaries from our Stake have been assigned to update blogs where they bear testimony and answer questions about the purpose of our existence and how to find greater peace and happiness in this life. Plus, it's fun to get a little sneak peak into their lives and see that they are real people with ups and downs like all the rest of us. These are usually young men and women who have left families and school behind for a year and a half to two years to serve wherever they are assigned...all because they want to share a message they love. I find that quite amazing. You can check them out here, here and here and on my sidebar under friends 'cause I'm proud to call missionaries my friends! I'm grateful for these servant's sacrifice, their service, their example, their enthusiasm, their energy, their courage, their faith... and someday, I hope they call me (with my hubby, of course) on a mission! Can't wait.
