#13. I am Thankful for our Customers
This gave us a good laugh last night when Ryan got home from work and said he found a "customer appreciation" note on his car window. I'm sure those lips are intended to represent what a lip-smackin' tasty treat she just enjoyed. Right. I'm just sad I didn't think of it first!...but my signature lipstick for leaving notes for my crush is WAY darker of a red!
Anyhow...... :)............ I've spent quite a few years helping customers, but it wasn't until starting our little yogurt shop that having a customer walk through the door when it is pouring rain outside, days when we are counting our pennies, could bring tears of gratitude to my eyes and the most humble of thankful prayers to my heart. A day of sunshine in November has a whole new meaning to me. We see meals on our table and we see our customers that visited regardless of our entrance being closed for over six weeks. Families with children enjoy their treats outside just to enjoy the show of the jack hammers and bull dozers and welders noisily at work...noise that only prayer could turn to music. I still remember the faces of those that came in during our first weeks of being opened... who would have supposed that angels like frozen yogurt?
