The Five, make that Six, Letter "F's"

Thank you for all the well wishes and prayers and grandma visits during a very uneasy time at our house.  Things are pretty much back to normal, as normal as normal can be around here.  Our work doesn't so kindly allow for a whole bunch of sick days so we're quickly putting this behind us and making necessary changes to keep Ryan as healthy as possible and doing all we can to avoid any future surgery.   Thankfully we're not looking at anything too serious, though Ryan really doesn't fit the profile of the group of people that most frequently suffer from this condition:  fair, fat, forty, fertile, and female.  Huh, so weird.  But then again, Ryan has always been pretty good at defying stereotypes.   We'll add one more to the five "F's" just for kicks:  FORTUNATE!  We're feeling so very fortunate that everything is going to be okay.
