Yum, Yum Yellow

Ryan was so excited about the great deal he got on this board a few years back.  I think the guy that sold it to him knew a little something (and was probably laughing all the way to the bank!) that we are just now learning.
Yes, that is right...Yellow stands for......can we say SHARK BAIT all together now?!  These Northern waters are a wee bit more sharky than where Ryan is used to surfing so he is taking all the extra precautions he can.  Except, of course, maybe just STAYING OUT of the SHARK INFESTED OCEAN!  Can you tell we've had our talks?  :) What's a girl to do?  Well, Ryan spent some time this week painting the bottom of his once yellow board as a signal to all sharks that there is no meat to be had here.  It looks a lot like a fleshless (hear that sharks...FLESHLESS!) skeleton to me, but actually, I guess the black and white silhouette is supposed to resemble a type of fish that Great Whites stay away from.  Let's hope it works!

Didn't know yellow was a shark favorite. Personally I love yellow, so sunny and bright. Hope that doesn't make me a shark! That said love the new paint job!
