An afternoon spent with "hearties"

The "sprogs" and I spent yesterday afternoon with some new friends. She was born in Kyrgystan (formerly part of the Soviet Union), raised in Russia, married an American and has since lived in Korea, the Philippines, and now the United States. As the kids played together, her just turned two year old pulled out a map of the world so we could quiz her. This little girl is a geography whiz! Very cute! Here's what my "scallywag" did with the map...his "dead lights" were dead set on the "briny" in search of anything to loot... Before putting the map away I at least made sure my pirate knew where the United States is.

We are from we don't know how to be bored. We are from fish in our trunk, from sushi nights out and KFC Christmas eves in. We are from bowling, a lot, from shooting pool and other things. We are from the Bob Jone's Trail, from trail mix, from mix matched socks, from shoes. We are from Donald's words of advice, from serving, from being served. We are from 1st Nephi 3:7, from faith, from family. We are from laughter. We are from love. We are from God.
