Our 30 day notice

This is a picture from Grandpa's airplane of where we've been living the last nine months.  How cool is this?!   Anyway, so it is now official that in 30 days we won't be calling this home any longer and in celebration of this new chapter in our lives I've decided to list 30 things we are going to miss about living at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  We've had a lot of good times!  We will miss...

1.  taking baths in a fun BIG tub
2.  swinging in the front yard
3.  watching the hot air balloons out the front windows  (so neat!)
4.  deer, deer, everywhere!  (love them!)
5.  our walks...lots and lots and lots of walks
6.  playing on the stairs
7.  flying with grandpa in his airplane
8.  playing I spy for the snaping turtle in the pond
9.  taking walks with our quarters to the vending machine
10.  answering lots of questions about why the spikes won't pop our tires going out and why we can't just go over the spikes coming in.  :)
11.  a BEAUTIFUL, beautiful drive to and from work
12.  rite aid ice cream after grocery runs
13.  little caesar's pizza picnics in the back of our Explorer
14.  subway sandwhich picnics at the park
15.  hikes, beautiful trails (not so beautiful poison oak!)
16.  driving by the house with the wrap around porch and pretending I live there
17.  Sockie...oh, how the kids are going to miss this dog!
18.  a front yard to drive Russell's jeep
19.  attacking grandpa when he comes home from work
20.  walks with hubby at one in the morning
21. cookies for dinner when Grandma's in charge
22.  the close drive to Grandma and Grandpa Hodnett's house
23.  Josiah, Russell's neighbor friend
24.  gardening with grandma
25.  watching the golfers at the driving range (there has been a golfball stuck in the net for months that Russell gets a kick out of)
26.  unloading grandma's pantry and reorganizing the cans all over her living room
27.  helping grandma vacuum
28.  Hallmark movie nights, girl movie nights of course !(loved Akeelah and the Bee)
29.  our ward...we always, always fall in love with the ward
30.  and of course....GRANDMA and GRANDPA
