Lost, Flushed and Found
Last week Rylee put something down the toilet. At least that's what we suspected when not only the toilets began overflowing but little lovelies were beginning to appear in the bathtub and shower as well. Happy days for sure. With a husband gone all hours of the day and many of the night, a mother-in-law out of town and a father-in-law who was working long night hours and needing to sleep during the day, the kids and I got good at emergency trips to a nearby park's porta potty until we had more hands to help find this little culprit that was clogging the pipes. And I bought a hat. Showers were off limits for a while (I won't admit how long). I was the one nominated to stick my arm down the clean out (the Rasmussen men all have gorilla arms thicker than tree trunks) while a 25 foot snake, garden hose, and anything we could think of was put down the toilet to push out this "toy." I learned more than I ever wanted to know about plumbing. Glad that is over.
