just in case you need help, this is a shark. Russell chose this after weeks and weeks of browsing all the fun birthday cake ideas online with me. he pays such attention to detail that I was afraid he might notice that the one he saw in the parenting magazine didn't look quite like this unappetizing looking sculpture/blob of frosting. I think the thought of being allowed to eat all that frosting distracted him enough that he didn't ask any questions but was just super excited at the possibilities. thanks Russell for not asking questions about where the shark's nose went.
