Feelin' Crafty

So, I'm still an ultra amateur at this whole crocheting thing but waiting for baby has given me lots of practice! I even got my sewing machine out (a day to document for sure!) and used an old fleece blanket to try my hand at making a baby sling. A friend let me borrow hers for work that was similar to it when Russell was an infant. Even though I wasn't fond of the idea at first (I had just shed myself of all that extra weight up front...I didn't see why I'd want to adorn myself with a baby all over again), it actually came in very handy and I even found myself using it at home. We'll make sure to do a little fashion show for you all once baby is here. I'm working on some little mary jane shoes (hey, Jane, now there is an idea for a name! :) ) right now. We'll see if she gives me time to finish them before she makes her grand entrance!
