Alison, especially for you! :)

For the record, Alison, I haven't been ignoring you...just stalling. I'm not the biggest fan of photo shoots of myself in the first place, let alone when I've gained 30+ pounds, an extra chin, my husband's wardrobe, and swollen ankles. :) The problem is, the more I've stalled the more swollen I've become. But, you asked for it! So this is me in all my gloriousness at nearly 39 weeks.
Actually, I really couldn't be more grateful for how wonderful this pregnancy has gone. I could even do this again! :) I had kind of a rough ride with Russell and for a while I thought that maybe I was just a really big wimp. This pregnancy has confirmed to me that I really did have a tough pregnancy with Russell...the delivery was pretty bad too. Maybe if all things keep going as they have been...okay, so a girl can dream, can't she?! Here is to a happy delivery!
So, I'm not even going to attempt to update about the past 2 1/2 months and I can't promise that the update will come later. Lots has happened that I'll spare you all from reading but we are all happy and healthy and excited about all the changes that are coming our way.
We are all eager about the arrival of our sweet baby girl (no name yet :) but not so eager about the sleepless nights ).
This last week Russell has been just an angel child. I consider his super cheerful, easy going, so unlike typical two year old behavior a very personal answer to my prayers. I've been worried about his response to having to share mommy and daddy with a sibling and all of you with multiple children are probably laughing at me at this point 'cause you all probably know I'm in for a real treat. She hasn't even arrived yet! But I have to write this anyway so when I do get a tough day with two, I can remember that the Lord is absolutely aware of my concerns... or maybe it is just that Russell is one smart cookie and knows to get on mom and dad's good side before the competition begins! :)
